The young men in the Middletown High basketball program participated in an off-season workout
program called "The Drive for 65." Players had 65 opportunities from April through August of 2008
to play pick-up games at Open Gym, work on their quickness in an after-school jump rope program,
and compete in summer league games. The goal was for each player to "drive for 65" chances at
improving as a basketball player.
